What do you think about violence on TV?

When violence became entertainment, violence in the real world escalated as well -- in some part for the entertainment effect. I'm not talking about wars -- I'm talking about kids, teenagers and frat parties, etc.
Violence for the sake of violence is predicated upon the idea that human life is not worth much.
I disagree....most strongly. But that is the message we are giving our children, regardless of the 'good' guys winning (maybe) in the end. What do you think about it?

The harm of TV
Psychologists say that watching documentaries and movies where there are scenes of violence, cause people with weak mentality, a propensity for violence. Every year after watching programs with violence, each person on the subconscious mind gets used to violence and evokes a certain passivity, which is very bad effect on human psychology in General.Net television is designed so that the viewer at the TV screen was the most attached to him, because the ratings of TV, advertising and of course profit for TV companies.
But in addition to the harmful effects of TV on human psychology, sitting for long periods watching TV will undoubtedly lead to excess weight or even obesity due to sedentary lifestyle. Many when watching a sporting event or eating chips, drinking beer again or someone then tries to quickly eat fast food.
And great are the harms of watching TV, of course at night. Which leads to disruption of sleep.

More specifically, most violence on television follows a highly formulaic pattern that is both sanitized and glamorized.By sanitized, I mean that portrayals fail to show realistic harm to victims, both from a short and long-term perspective. Immediate pain and suffering by victims of violence is included in less than half of all scenes of violence. By glamorized, I mean that violence is performed by attractive role models who are often justified for acting aggressively and who suffer no remorse, criticism, or penalty for their violent behavior. More than a third of all violence is committed by attractive characters, and more than two-thirds of the violence they commit occurs without any signs of punishment.

Whether we like it or not, bit our world is very violent. And on TV we usually see the biggest concentration of violence ever. So when I have my own kids I don't think that there will be TV in my house at all. I can live without it. I watch only talent shows like "The X factor" or "The voice" and it is possible to watch them on the Internet. And TV is bad for children because they don't know exactly what information to choose for themselves and how to choose it right, they have no exact picture about what is good and what is bad. But forbidding is not the way out because what is forbidden seems more attractive.

There are many different things o the TV that should not be ever shown. I have two little sisters and I do not them grow up stupid, lesbians and rude. I think that parents should observe, what their children are watching on the TV, as there are so many **** programs that children should never ever watch and see in their lives. Once I was at home and we were watching /TV with sisters, but when we switched the channel I saw that there was a guy who was cutting the head from another guy. Is it normal? I do not think so, I hope that my sisters won`t receive harmful effect from the television. Bless them, God!

Our world is cruel to each of us and what we see on TV is a reflection of our real world where we live everyday. Sometimes I am really surprised what can happen with us, sometimes we see such stupid crimes and sometimes we see extremely cruel crimes. And we can just look around and see that we are shooting in one more film called "Life" and in this film you can't rewind or pause the video.

For me it's not very important, i have seen a lot in my life that's why i'm not surprised with the violence on TV.but it's really bad for our children and as well i have two i really care about what they are watching there. Tv teaches children to kill people and all these cruel things, i allow my children to watch cartoons but not movies where the person is killed by the other one. because it can make bad impact on their personality and futher life, i want them to be kind and responsible people, but not such as i see on the screens.

i think that violence on tv influences our life much and it is very difficult to resist it. i dont know why nowadays appeared so much such things on our screens.today there are very difficult times and it is better to watch something that will calm you down and help you to relax and forget about everything. but they just make the things even worse. showing these violent things on tv they just produce bad people, who will steal, kill and do lots of other crimes.children watching tv think that it is cool to be a bad guy, everyone loves them. and it is not surprising really.

Violence on TV will be always, and it is bad news, but it is our reality. Some people don't treat something on TV as bad influence on children or other weak people. But at the same time they are quite right, because everybody has a choice, which they may make by themselves. That's why make your choice properly.

Nowaadays there are a lot of violence on TV. Televised violence has many effects on kids. They want to imitate things they see. They don't know the difference between good things and bad things well. Moreover, in some programs a robot comes up again after it has been killed. A robot doesn't spill blood and shed tears if it is hurt. Maybe I think it is bad to televise violent programs while children are still awake. Violent shows are bad not only for children but also for society because people who watch violent TV shows want to imitate the TV shows. I think action movies and cartoon programs affect us negatively. We want shooting, punching, beating, pounding, kicking, and hitting. I think parents who have children should restrict their children's viewing of violent TV shows.
