Sergius and Bacchus were Roman soldiers who became martyrs. When they refused to worship the God Jupiter, it became obvious that they were Christians. Bacchus was first beaten to death, but according to legend he appeared to Sergius the next day in prison and promised him that "if I were separated from you, corporal, I'd still be tied to you by bonds of Union." Sergius was tortured and killed soon after.

There is evidence of the

There is evidence of the existence of same-sex couples in America, it is known that some indigenous American peoples were tolerant towards sexual and gender diversity, and even revered him. There is a lot we don't know and can't know about homosexuality in a New Light. When the Europeans-Christians conquered America, they imposed their values on indigenous peoples and destroyed records of same-sex relationships, which are defined as "the sin of the Gentiles." Knowledge of the lives of many and their love was lost forever.

Mahmud of Ghazni founded the

Mahmud of Ghazni founded the Ghaznavid Empire and ruled as Sultan. He fell in love with the Turkish slave Malik Ayaz, and their relationship became the epitome of idealized love in Islamic legend and Sufi literature. As the story goes, Ayaz asked Mahmud who is the most powerful man in the Empire. When the Sultan replied that it was himself, Ayaz corrected him, saying that in fact the most powerful man is Ayaz, Mahmoud is his slave. The expression "slave of a slave" became a favorite trope in Persian literature.

Great artist and inventor of

Great artist and inventor of the Renaissance Leonardo da Vinci must have loved his assistant Gian Giancomo, Caprotti Yes Oreno (Gian Giancomo Caprotti da Oreno) (nicknamed Salai, which means "devil"). Having lived with the young man year, da Vinci listed his vices, calling him "a thief, a liar, stubborn, and a glutton". Salai stole money and valuables, his skill was bad, but Salai was definitely something that has endeared him to da Vinci because Leonardo kept it to himself for 30 years and depicted on several drawings and paintings.

Among the samurai existed based on age hierarchy homosexuality, which was called "sudo" (shudo). Usually, the samurai served his daimyo with honor and followed his master to death. However, Mitsushige disliked this custom and asked his beloved samurai, Tsunetomo to abandon this practice after his own death. Ironically, this break with tradition was in code of the samurai, which was recorded later. Tsunetomo, lived in retirement in the mountains, where he conversed with the young samurai who visited him. His comments formed the basis of the "Hagakure" - a comprehensive source of knowledge on samurai culture.
