Lazy

Lazy is a state of mind. If you're determined to make a fresh start in the new year, but something always pulls you back, that something could be you. We choose our behaviors, even the lazy ones. Read on to find out how you can stop being lazy and start moving forward!
I know that you must admitt that you are lazy. Much like any recovery program, the first step here is admitting that there is a problem. If you can't come to terms with it, you won't make any effort to change it. However, you don't have to experience any public humiliation. You can keep this to yourself. Nobody has to know that you're even THINKING about it, let alone trying to change your lazy habits.
But what then?

I'm lazy and I admit it. I really try to overcome my laziness. There are some advices that I have found in the internet.
Every time you start being lazy, stand back and do a little assessment of what's been really happening. Laziness is generally a symptom and not the problem itself. What's the cause of your lack of motivation? Are you tired, overwhelmed, afraid, hurting, or just plain uninspired and stuck? Most likely, the sticking issue is smaller than you think, and you can get past it more easily than you realize.

Now that you're thinking about the cause of your laziness, start focusing on it. It may not be the quick fix you were looking for, but it'll be permanent. Consider the following:
If you're tired, start devoting some time to relaxing. Everyone needs down time. If your schedule doesn't allow for it, you may have to make some sacrifices. But your output will be all the more better for it.

If you're overwhelmed, take a step back. How can you simplify what's on your plate? Can you parse it into sections and make it smaller? Can you make a list of priorities and tackle them one at a time?
If you're afraid, what are you afraid of? Obviously this is something you wish you were doing. Are you afraid of reaching your potential? Of finally hitting your goals and being unhappy? How can you see that your fear is irrational?

Each of us is lazy more or less. Each of us having a choice to do or not to do will chose not to do. But the problem of really lazy people is that they are unable to make themselves do something even if they know that they don't have a choice and the task should be done no matter what. There are many reasons why they behave this way, so there are also many ways to "cure" the laziness

Pleasant and senseless deals instead of necessary and boring. It is the most common reason for people to be lazy. Why to tidy up the house when my favourite TV show begins? Why to workout in the morning when I can lie in bed for 20 minutes more? It cures easily - do nothing. Either what you need or nothing at all. Hold still, don't move, think of nothing. How much time will you be able to do it? You'll get tired of it faster than of doing your duties.

And from this reason comes another one - wrong priorities. For example to watch TV show is a wrong priority and to tidy up the house is a right priority. You pay your attention and devote your time to things which are not important and then, when the time comes to do something really necessary, you are busy, tired and don't have enough time for it. So, divide your tasks into important and unimportant, focus on first.

"The Scarlet O'Hara rule". If you repeat every day that you will think about it tomorrow, then tomorrow never comes, each day is today. But one day all the small tasks which you promised yourself to do that mysterious day called "tomorrow" become one big unsolvable problem. And if you did small tasks immediately without keeping them, it would be much easier for you to do them one by one.

Wrong time management. You say that you don't have enough time, but all people have the same amount of time per day, so the problem is not in quantity of time, the problem is in the way you use it. If you have no time to have breakfest, wake up 20 minutes earlier. If you have no time to call your friend to congratulate him or her with his\her birthday, send him\her a letter by email using your smartphone waiting for a bus on the bus stop.
